The German Eagle and the Nazi Swastika are displayed prominently near the frontiers of Germany and the Saar Territory symbolising the hopes that the Saar will be returned to the mother land when the result of the Plebiscite is declared - already confident of victory Germany is celebrating the return of the Saar - beacons are flaring from towers and hilltops throughout the country - the International Police however are keeping strit watch over the frontiers of Germany and the Saar Territory to prevent undesirable demonstrations - photo shows a frontier scene at Zweibrucken where the Saarland meets German Bavaria with the International Police on guard - the German Eagle and Nazi Swastika are prominently displayed on the left January 14th 1935
