K B H Yates - the track captain of the South London Harriers - was married at St Boniface Church in Tooting to Miss M Michelmore Ken Yates is remembered for his amazing sprinting in the season 1933 when he was the only Englishman to reach the final of both the 100 and 220 yards dashes at the AAA championships The same year he gained his international colours against France Germany and Italy Photo shows the bride and groom September 7th 1935
