Democratic Presidential Candidate, Senator J F Kennedy speaks from a raised Dais to a vast crowd of garment workers during his tour of the garment district of htis city on October 27th. Crowds estimated at about 200,000 welcomed Kennedy to the Rally at 37th Street and Seventh Avenue. The Democratic Candidate called on the workers to help seep 'The Republicans all the way back to California'. 28th October 1960.
