Knighthood for Felix Aylmer. Actor Sir Felix Aylmer leaving Buckingham Palace today after receiving his knighthood at an Investitiure held by the Queen. Sir Felix, Chairman of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, yesterday declared invalid the election of 12 of the 20 members of the council or R.A.D.A.. In a statement, Sir Felix said the eight members who remained were two short of the statutory number required by R.A.D.A.'s Royal charter. The council would be meeting on Thursday to arrange for the 12 to be elected legally. 20 July 1965
