This Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter will do no more damage to Americans . In fact it is now working for the Allies . Made up of parts from 5 Japanese Zeros shot down in the battle for Buna airstrip , it is seen here at Wright Field where has been undergoing a series of tests by Material command specialists to determine its characteristics . Known as the ' Hump ' it is a fighter of fairly long range which can be increased with drop tanks seen here attached to a central point .
