The delegation of Italian ex - servicemen who are visiting Great Britain at the invitation of the British Legion were received by Mr Leslie Hore - Belisha , the War Minister , at the War Office in Whitehall , London . The delegation had previously visited Westminster Abbey to lay a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior . The Italian ' s visit is in return for that paid to Rome a year ago by officers of the British Legion .
