Redhead, 21-year-old Moira Shearer makes her first screen appearance in The Red Shoes. She is one of the Sadlers Wells Company leaving ballerinas. As well as dancing in 'The Red Shoes' ballet and other excerpts from the classical ballet, she has an important acting role opposite Anton Walbrook and Marius Goring. Moira Shearer poses in Jacques Fath's navy linen slacks suit. The short-sleeved jumper is relieved by two horizontal white bands.
