The Right Honourable Alfred Barnes M.P. Minister of Transport opened an exhibition of London Midland and Scottish Railway signalling at Euston station, In order to show how the signals were made using a small mainline signal box has been constructed in the shareholders meeting room. The full-size demonstration equipment controlled from the signal box includes a set of points, two types of semaphore signals, and a coloured light signal. The exhibition also includes working models of the most up-to-date types of L.M.S. signalling apparatus.
