World Red Cross talks at Oxford. A 12 day conference of the League of Red Cross Societies was opened by Lord Woolton, Chairman of the Executive of the British Red Cross at Oxford today (Monday). Delegates from 50 nations were present. Items on the conference agenda include organisation of relief, status of nurses and standardisation of the highway first aid code.
