Australia honours Diana Wynyard. In appreciation of her broadcast in aid of the Fourth Australian Victory War Loan (which totalled ?5 million), the Commonwealth of Australia are presented the English actress Diana Wynyard with a silver and enamel plaque as a memento of her services. This bears the arms of the Commonwealth and the badges of the States of Australia and Tasmania and was handed to Miss Wynyard by the Australian resident Minister in London, Mr J A Beasley, today, Monday.
