Greece's new King and Queen. The death from heart failure of King George of the Hellenes was announced this afternoon (Tuesday). He was 57, Crown Prince Paul succeeds to the throne, and at 7.30 tonight takes the oath. He's younger brother of the late King, as 46 years of age. In 1938 he married Princess Frederika Luise, daughter of the Duke of Brunswick. They have three children, Prince Constantine, aged six (now Crown Prince), Princess Sophia, (aged nine) and Princess Irene born in's down in 1942, General Smuts was her godfather.
