The final of the Royal Naval Air Stations Firefighting Competition was won at Lee on Solent today (Thursday) by Royal Naval Air Station Worthy Down , who beat Royal Naval Air Station Abbotsinch, the holders of the Challenge Shield. The crews were inspected by Adml (Air) . Rear Adml GN Oliver, CB, DSO, who also presented the Shield to the winning crew.
