Brave Scout. The Chief Scout, Lord Rowallan, has awarded the Cornwall Certificate toPatrol Second Marc de Lanux, aged 14, of the 7th Oxford Troop, all the members of which are patients at the Wingfield Morris Orthopaedic Hospital, Oxford. Scout de Lanux rioted last April for treatment for cared for infantile paralysis of seven years standing. He comes from Mauritius and a Scoutmaster says that about eight operations and straightening of his limbs, Marc shows a wonderful example of cheerfulness and courage, and has attempted all Scouting activities, though at times it has been difficult to carry on.
