Royalty attended the Rugby Union Match at Wembley Stadium, for the first time when Leeds met Bradford Northern in the rugby league cup final. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester shook hands with the players before the kick-off, and then watched the game before presenting the cup to the winning team.
