The first party of German girls engaged to British ex-servicemen arrived at Croydon airport this evening in a specially chartered plane. Altogether, 2000 girls have been granted visas and arrangements have been made for most of them to travel by ship from Cuxhaven to Harwich. As only a limited number can be taken on each trip, some husbands to be have made their own arrangements and bringing the fraueins over by air.
