Eileen Nerlie (centre) Britain's brilliant young dramatic actress has for her performance in "The Eagle Has Two Heads", been awarded the first ever Evelyn Terry Award, an annual trophy for the best actress of the year. The award a 9 inch silver statuette of a Grecian nude, goes also to Frederick Valk (right) judged best actor of the year for his part in "The Brothers Karamazov", and to Terence Rattigan , whose play "the Winslow boy" measures up as the year's best.
