Annie gets her gun, to start a race. Dolores Gray, star of the stage show 'Annie Get Your Gun', acted as official starter for the second stage of the Brighton to Glasgow Marathon, at Chester Road, Regent's Park, this morning. The event is being supported by a large number of cyclists from all nations, who are racing for the biggest cycling prize in the sports history, amounting to ?00 in addition to the 'King of the Mountains'cup. Organised by the British League of Racing Cyclists, it is hoped that this race will give some pointers as to how Britain will shape in the coming Olympic Games.
