European aid conference. The Rt Hon Ernest Bevin, Secretary Of State for Foreign Affairs, arrived at London airport from Paris today (Tuesday). He has been officiating as chairman of the 16 nation European economic conference, where at a final meeting yesterday, the the report to Mr Marshall on Europe's needs was signed by all delegates. Unanimous approval was given to Mr Bevin suggestion that the report should be sent 'forthwith, by special messenger to Mr Marshall'. It left from Orly airfield early today.
