Her Majesty Queen Mary was a visitor this morning to the first post-war radio exhibition which opens tomorrow at Olympia. She saw the latest developments in British radio. Both the homebuyer and all-important exports trade. Wartime radio secrets, including nightvision by infrared and radio control of signalling apparatus, are also demonstrated. Television is well in evidence; 39 models on show. Main trend of design and radio sets is towards miniature models, incorporating the small components which were also a war development. Radio exports, valued at 8 million last year, are expected to be substantially increased by virtue of the show.
