The Phra Buddha Sihing shrine in Nakhon Si Thammarat contains one of Thailand's most revered Buddha images; the Phra Sihing Buddha. This replica was cast from a Sri Lankan image orignally cast in 157 CE and brought to the town in the 13th century.
