History of Paris.Notre-Dame de Paris; circa 1350.Its construction; begun under the impulse of Bishop Maurice de Sully; extended over more than two centuries; from 1163 to the middle of the 14th century. His style mixes the primitive Gothic with the gothic radiating. The two rosettes which decorate each of the arms of the transept are among the largest in Europe; and each measure thirteen meters in diameter.
