Ethel St Clair Grimwood, 1867 - 1928. English author of the book "My Three Years in Manipur and Escape from the Recent Mutiny", which recounts how she successfully led a party of surviving sepoys out of Manipur to Cachar after the British Residency in Imphal was attacked and her husband Frank St Clair Grimmond murdered during the Anglo-Manipur War in 1891.
