Gaio Giulio Cesare (13 July 101 BC July 12 100 BC - March 15; 44 BC) military; consul; dictator; speaker and Roman writer; considered one of the most important and influential figures in history; in 74 BC he went to Rhodes when it was kidnapped by pirates; persisted for more than double the ransom they were going to ask for his release; so that it was suitable to his person; and during the 38 days of captivity did nothing but treat his jailers as if they were in his service; repeating them as soon as Free would immediately caught and punished them; which punctually happened.
