Jason nudibranch (Jason mirabilis) with egg ribbon on a hydroid (Solanderia sp.). Endemic to New Zealand, this hermaphroditic nudibranch lays its eggs on its hydroid prey. It uses the stinging cells of the hydroid to defend itself.
