Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus), and its mimic, the viceroy (Limentitis archippus). This is an example of Batesian mimicry, in which one species (in this case, the toxic monarch) is unpalatable, and the other species has developed a resemblance to the toxic species, to deter predators. The monarch is the larger butterfly.
