The Bolitoglossine salamander (Bolitoglossa schizodactyla) is found in montane forests of southern Central America. With their flat feet, these salamanders are capable of climbing nearly vertical surfaces. Their long projectile tongues aid in capturing their prey, usually small invertebrates.
