Alaskan or Northern Sea Otter (Enhydra lutris) with Common Goldeneye drake (Bucephala clangula). Alaska. This goldeneye worked this sheltered cove where 10-30 sea otters came to raft during mid-day, feeding on their wasted food and feces. Being that the sea otter feed extensively on mollusks, crabs and other marine life I'm sure this was a rich diet for this duck.
