Starhead Minnow or lined topminnow (Fundulus lineolatus); sexual dimorphism. The criss-cross bandingpattern is a combination of the male's vertical bands, and female's horizontal bands, so actual sex not known in this case. This specimen was found in a southeastern U.S. pond.
