Squat lobsters of the genus Munida (family Galatheidae) are relatives of true lobsters. These lobsters are pelagic, living in the water column. Specimens were trawled from between 600 and 200 meters depth, Gulf of Mexico, 2016. Image courtesy of the DEEPEND project.
