Sea stacks, outliers of resistant rock on a cliff-lined coast eroded by wave and wind action. Such isolated rocks provide a safe breeding area for seabirds. The tiered structure of these two stacks results from differential weathering of sedimentary strata. They are part of the "Twelve Apostles," located in Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia.
