Small businesses with signs mostly in Korean,(with some also in English). This illustrates an immigrant group, (in this case the Koreans), operating businesses within a multicultural city, who are not interested in non-Korean business. The view is on Union Street in the predominately Korean area of Flushing,Queens. Complaints were made by longtime residents, and changes are being made. Businesses are encouraged to put their signs in the language of the country they are in, in addition to their own language.
