Theodore Roosevelt and Archibald Hoxsey before their flight from Kinloch Field in St. Louis, Missouri, 1910. While participating in the Missouri State Republican Party's campaign on October 11, 1910, Roosevelt (1858 - 1919) was invited to fly in a biplane with Archibald Hoxsey as pilot. Archibald Hoxsey (October 15, 1884 - December 31, 1910) was an American aviator who worked for the Wright brothers.
