Kisses, Gaura suffulta. The flowers of the gauras as distinctive in appearance due to their upswept petals and down swept stamens. This species is an abundant spring wildflower in tall grass prairies of Texas and parts of New Mexico. The lax appearance of the flower stalk is common to the genus. Gauras are members of the evening primrose family, Onagracea.
