Indian Warrior (Pedicularis densiflora) is a member of the lousewort genus in the broomrape family. It is native to western North America. The buds of Indian Warrior are sold as medicinal herbs and are burned as incense for aromatic and ceremonial purposes. The smoke of the Indian warrior plant is said to be sweet in aroma and tranquilizing. It is a root parasite and often attaches to the roots of manzanita.
