Taurus. Artwork of the zodiacal constellation Taurus representing a bull. The zodiac is the band in the sky through which the Sun appears to move. The white stars make out the shape of a bull. The Sun is in Taurus roughly between the 20 April and 20 May each year. This constellation is noteworthy for the bright star Aldebaran at the bull's snout. Taurus is visible in autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. It lies between the constellations Gemini and Aries. North is towards the top left corner.
