Shushila Devi, 70, has tuberculosis and lives in a small, dark room that resembles a cave. She is a widow and her daughter is married and lives far away. Shushila lives from food donations from her neighbours or by begging. Social worker Fahim, who works for the tuberculosis hospital St. Thomas' Home, is responsible for the house visits with the ambulatory treated woman. Since she lives like most women very withdrawn and leaves her home only rarely she is rather unknown in her neighbourhood, Fahim had to ask around the neighbourhood for over one week to find her.
