The Home of the poet Longfellow, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, c1900. The house, built in 1759 for John Vassall, was the home of American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) for almost 50 years, and previously the headquarters of General George Washington (1775-1776).
