'Benjie', 1894. Portrait of oarsman Hugh Benjamin Cotton (1871-1895), president of the Oxford University Boat Club, wearing a jumper with his initials on it. Cotton died of lung illness a year after the portrait was made. Published in Vanity Fair, 15 March 1894.
