Short-beaked Echidna - adult digging in the ground and sticking its beak halfway down into the earth. (Tachyglossus aculeatus). Tasmania, Australia. It searches for food which consists solely of ants and termites. It can find them by detecting electrical impulses in the muscles of its prey.
