DESERT - Namibia. Flooded Sossuvlei. Namib-Naukluft Park, with Camelthorn Trees and Nara bushes. Acacia erioloba / Acanthosicyos horrida. Sossusvlei is a dry pan in the centre of the Namib Desert. It is flooded only about every 15 years when, after heavy rainfalls, the Tsauchab River carries its water into the vlei.
