Silver Gull - Gregarious, bold, noisy opportunistic and adaptable. (Larus novaehollandiae novaeholla). Roebuck Bay, Broome, Western Australia. Widespread around all of Australia being abundant in the south but less common in the tropical north. Inhabits rocky shores, offshore islands, sandy beaches, urban parks, rubbish dumps, cultivated land, ponds, inland lakes and rivers.
