A court room scene in the trial of Doctor Jameson and his officers at Bow Street, February 25th 1896. The prisoners from left to right are as follows: H.N Grenfell, K.J.F Smith, C.H Villiers, J. Stracey, Hon. H. White, Raleigh Grey, Hon H.F Right, Sir J Willoughby and Dr. Jameson. They were accused of unlawfully preparing and fitting out a military expedition to proceed against the South African(Transvaal) Republic. Enthroned of the far left is Sir John Bridge, the presiding judge.
