A little fishing village near Boulogne - Le Portel - Rue Carnot et Place D'Eglise. The road is named after Nicolas Leonard Sadi Carnot (1796 ? 1832), a French physicist and military engineer who gave the first successful theoretical account of heat engines, laying the foundations of the second law of thermodynamics!
