Bronze Statue - "Vittoria Alata" or "Nike of Brescia" - Brescia, Italy. Roman original derived from Greek statue (style is circa 4th BC). Originally a statue of Aphrodite, but wings were added to transform her into Nike, the Goddess of Victory when she was given by Rome to the town of Brixia.
