A sceene of sceenes. Elizabeth Cannings dream for ye good of her native country, which she dreamt soon after her arrival in America. Print shows Elizabeth Canning, transported to America, seated in a room. She looks alarmingly at an old crone pointing to a soldier's uniform. Through the open window can be seen British soldiers marching up a hill as dark-skinned natives carry large bundles. The text, relating a dream, refers to the French and Indian War, Joan of Arc, and Canning's accuser in Britain, Mary Squires. Date 1755.
