John More (?-1592), Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge, minister of St Andrew's Church, Norwich, and cartographer. He worked for many years on a map of Canaan, based on biblical research. When he died, the cartographer John Speed (portrait lower right) took over his work. 'Canaan in Biblical Times' was published as a 14-page hand-coloured map in 1595.
