Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu - the most important Shinto shrine in the city of Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. On the left of the great stone stairway stood a 1000-year old ginkgo tree, which was uprooted by a storm in the early hours of March 10th, 2010.
