All-of-a-Sudden Peggy by Ernest Denny, first produced at the Duke of York?s Theatre, London, 27 February 1906. The title means that Peggy is an impulsive young woman. She pretends to elope with a young man she later falls in love with, and pairs up with him at the end. Touring to the Theatre Royal, Peterborough, 17 April 1911(?).
