Harry Macdonald's Woodcarver's Shop - Woolmer Green, Knebworth, Hertfordshire. Harry MacDonald (a Yorkshireman) came south and brought this cottage for ?1,000 in 1937. He built his model village over the years & also carved serious subjects. Macdonald died on 23rd April 1971 and the cottage was (very sadly in my opinion) demolished in 1981.
