Paving tiles found in the Lady Chapel, round the base of the south-west pier, in the doorway between the north transept and the Cloister, in the N.W. angle of the Cloister itself, and in one of the north transeptal chapels. All were of the 13th, 14th or 15th centuries.. The archeological excavations of Lesnes Abbey carried out by the Works Committee of the Woolwich Antiquarian Society during the years 1909-1913.
